What is a Chat Tag?
Being one of the best live chat features, chat tag helps you to filter specific set of customer chat transcripts for your reference. In simple terms, tags are the words by which you can identify the topic of a live chat conversation. It will help you to segregate chat transcripts for specific groups.
For example, searching with tags such as “Demo” will help to find out the list of chat conversations where visitors asked for a product demo.
Creating Chat Tags:
As an admin, you can easily create chat tags which can be used by all of your agents during live chat sessions. To create a chat tag, please follow the below mentioned steps:
Firstly, Signup for REVE Chat and login to your REVE Chat dashboard with your registered email ID and password. Next, go to ‘Settings’ and select ‘Chat Tags’. To create a new tag, next click on the ‘ADD CHAT TAGS’ button.
For example, here we would like to add a tag called ‘Price’. In the given space, Under ‘Tag Title’, we will write ‘Price’ and under ‘Comments’ we will write short brief about that tag to understand what is it all about. Finally, click on the ‘Create Chat Tags’ button to save your changes. That’s it, the new tag will be added.
