Learn how our AI Conversions are counted and how they relate to your REVE Chat plan. This guide explains AI conversion limits, add-ons, counting rules, and key pricing considerations to help you understand your usage and choose the right plan for your business.
What Is an AI Conversion?
An AI Conversion is a customer interaction where an AI Agent successfully helps the customer reach a meaningful outcome, such as getting the right information, completing an action, or resolving a request.
Here are a few simple examples of an AI Conversion:
- A customer asks for an order status, and the AI Agent provides the correct update.
- A visitor asks about product availability, and the AI Agent confirms whether the item is in stock.
- A customer asks about a pricing plan, and the AI Agent provides the relevant pricing information with personalized assistance.
- A user needs help resetting a password, and the AI Agent guides them through the process.
- A shopper asks for a product recommendation, and the AI Agent suggests a suitable option based on their needs and helps them with checkout.
- A customer wants to change a delivery date, and the AI Agent helps complete the requested action.
Understanding AI Conversions in REVE Chat
REVE Chat uses AI Conversions to measure meaningful customer interactions handled by Wize AI Agent. This helps businesses understand their AI Agent usage and manage the AI Conversation needs included with their subscription.
When Is an AI Conversion Counted?
REVE Chat applies a 24-hour counting window to AI Conversions. During this period, a meaningful customer interaction with the AI Agent is counted as one AI Conversion.
The Fixed 24-hour window
The window is fixed, not rolling. It begins with the first accepted inbound visitor message and ends exactly 24 hours later. A greeting can start the window without creating a charge. Later activity does not extend it.
| Time | Customer journey | Usage status |
|---|---|---|
| Monday 10:00 | Visitor says 'Hi'. | Window starts; 0 AI Conversations |
| Monday 10:03 | Visitor asks for order status. | Conversation 1 becomes billable; expiry remains Tuesday 10:00 |
| Monday 16:00 | Visitor asks to change the delivery date. | Still 1 |
| Tuesday 09:59 | Visitor reconnects before expiry. | Still 1 |
| Tuesday 10:05 | A new window starts and AI handles a substantive request. | 2 AI Conversations in total |
Human Handover and The Unassigned Workflow
| Scenario | Usage | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| AI helps, then hands over inside the 24-hour window | 1 AI Conversation | The prior AI handling remains charged once. Human-only messages create no additional AI charge. |
| The human continues the same chat beyond 24 hours | Still 1 overall | Time passing during human handling does not create another AI Conversation. |
| The human closes after expiry; the visitor returns and AI handles a new request | Can become Conversation 2 | A new AI activation after the prior window can create the next charge. |
| The human returns the chat to AI inside the original window | Still 1 | Reuse the existing AI Conversation. |
| Technical reconnect or close/reopen occurs inside the window | Still 1 | Operational state changes do not multiply usage. |
What Does Not Reset or Extend the Window
- A new message or AI reply inside the active window
- Technical close and reopen while AI remains eligible inside the original window
- Visitor reconnect or return
- AI-to-human transfer, or a return to AI inside the original window
- Department, teammate or AI Agent reassignment
- A new technical session ID inside the same eligible identity and channel window
Here are the main counting rules:
| Scenario | AI Conversion Count |
|---|---|
| AI Agent successfully answers the customer's query or resolves a request | 1 |
| AI Agent handles the query and then hands it over to a human agent for resolution | 1 |
| Customer only sends a greeting such as “Hi” or “Hello,” receives a greeting response, and does not continue the conversation | O |
| Customer continues interacting with the AI Agent within the same 24-hour period multiple times | 1 |
| Customer returns after 24 hours and starts interacting with the AI Agent again in the same chat | 2 (1 for the first 24 hours, the next for a new 24 hour window) |
Practical Customer Example
A customer asks: “Where is my order?”
The AI Agent provides the order status successfully.
This is counted as 1 AI Conversion.
| Customer Message | AI Agent Response/Action | AI Conversion? | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| “Hi” | Replies with a greeting | No | Only a greeting was exchanged. |
| “Hello, how are you?” | Replies politely | No | No meaningful question or request was made. |
| “Good morning” | Replies with a greeting | No | The interaction does not contain a customer request. |
| “Hi, what time do you close?” | Provides business hours | Yes | The AI Agent answered a real customer question. |
| “Do you offer free delivery?” | Provides the delivery policy | Yes | Even a short, useful answer counts as a meaningful interaction. |
| “Is this product in stock?” | Confirms product availability | Yes | The AI Agent provided the information the customer needed. |
| “What is your return period?” | Shares the return policy | Yes | The customer’s request was successfully answered. |
| “Can I change my delivery date?” | Helps update or explains how to change it | Yes | The AI Agent helped the customer complete an action. |
| “I need help with my order.” | Collects details and transfers the conversation to a human agent | Yes | The AI Agent meaningfully handled the request before handover. |
Important: If a customer only says “Hi” or “Hello” and the interaction ends after the AI Agent responds to the greeting, no AI Conversion is deducted.
Interactions That Do Not Consume An AI Conversation
- The visitor opens the widget but sends nothing.
- The visitor sends only a greeting, emoji or generic small talk and does not continue with a substantive request.
- Spam, bot or abusive traffic is blocked or quarantined before eligible AI handling.
- A corrupt or unsupported image, audio file or failed transcription is rejected before meaningful AI assistance.
- Internal model, tool or delivery retries occur inside an already-counted conversation.
IMPORTANT DISTINCTION: The 24-hour window and the charge are related but separate. The first accepted inbound message starts the clock but the AI Conversation becomes billable only when the AI Agent begins handling a substantive request.

Unused AI Conversion Carryforward
AI Conversion limits are calculated monthly. However, unused AI Conversions are not lost at the end of the month.
If you do not use your complete monthly allocation, the remaining AI Conversions are carried forward and added to the available balance under your active plan.
For example, if your plan includes 250 AI Conversions and you use only 200, the remaining 50 AI Conversions are retained and carried forward.
Unused carried-forward AI Conversions remain available for future use as long as applicable under the active plan.

Copilot Add-ons for Human Agents
Copilot is separate from AI Conversions. It is designed to assist human live agents while they communicate with customers.
REVE Chat’s Wize AI Copilot can help agents generate reply suggestions, rewrite messages, summarize conversations, and translate messages.
Copilot is purchased per agent/per seat. Each human agent who needs access to Copilot requires one Copilot add-on.
Account-level features such as “Chat Summary” and “Expiration” activate when at least one Copilot seat is active.
Copilot Add-on Pricing
| Currency | Price per Agent/seat |
|---|---|
| USD | $9 monthly |
| BDT | ৳900 monthly |
| INR | ₹700 monthly |
AI Conversion vs. Copilot
AI Conversion applies when a Wize AI Agent directly handles a customer interaction.
Copilot, on the other hand, assists a human agent while the human agent handles the conversation.
This distinction makes it easier to understand and manage the AI usage associated with automated customer interactions and human-assisted support.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is an AI Conversation?
One billable unit of Wize AI Agent handling in live chat or messaging within a fixed 24-hour window. Tickets and live AI Voice calls are outside this release.
2. When does the window begin?
The fixed window begins with the first accepted inbound visitor message. It becomes billable only when AI starts handling a substantive request.
3. Does activity extend the window?
No. Messages, reconnects, technical sessions, close/reopen and transfers do not extend the fixed window.
4. What happens after handover?
The AI Conversation already activated before handover remains charged once. Human-only messages after handover are not AI Conversation usage and do not create another charge.
5. Are messages or AI responses charged per turn?
No. Text-turn volume does not change the unit count inside the active window.
6. Are tool calls and Knowledge Base searches separate AI Conversations?
No. Normal retrieval and orchestration inside the active conversation are included.
7. Are AI Agents limited by plan?
No. Every package supports unlimited AI Agents. The package’s AI Conversation allowance controls usage.
8. Are tickets or live AI Voice calls included?
No. Ticket billing, live AI Voice calls and voice-message TTS are not included in the v2.3 release.
9. Are images included?
Yes. Up to 50 successfully processed visitor images are included per AI Conversation. Image 50 triggers a CAPTCHA; no further images are processed in that conversation.
10. Are voice messages included?
Yes. Up to 30 minutes of successfully processed inbound voice-message audio are included per AI Conversation through STT. The AI Agent replies in text.
11. What happens after 30 voice-message minutes?
REVE stops sending additional audio to STT and sends a localized message asking the visitor to continue in text. There is no separate voice-minute charge.
12. What happens after the image CAPTCHA?
A valid CAPTCHA allows supported non-image AI interaction to continue, but the 50-image cap remains. An invalid CAPTCHA stops further AI query processing; a human may still assist.
13. Are AI Credits still used?
No. There is no AI Credit allowance, add-on or customer-facing balance in v2.3.
14. How is Copilot sold?
Copilot is a separate monthly seat add-on: $9, 900 BDT or 700 INR per seat. Copilot seats cannot exceed total account seats.
15. How is Knowledge Base training limited?
Knowledge Base training uses a package-level document cap, not AI Credits. Exact caps are currently [TBD] for every package.
16. What happens when AI Conversation capacity is exhausted?
An already-charged active window can continue. New AI-required chats remain in or move to Unassigned for human handling until capacity is available. Transfer back to AI is not charged until AI starts substantive handling.
17. Do unused allowances roll over or become overage?
No. Monthly included and recurring capacity expires at reset, and there is no automatic postpaid overage. Non-expiring AI Conversation packs remain until consumed where offered.
