You can install REVE Chat using Google Tag Manager if you do not want to edit your website code directly. This method allows you to manage the REVE Chat widget script from your GTM account and publish it to your website through the correct GTM container.
This option is useful for websites where scripts are managed by a marketing team, analytics team, or technical team through Google Tag Manager.

Steps to Install REVE Chat Using Google Tag Manager
To install REVE Chat through Google Tag Manager:
- Log in to your REVE Chat dashboard.
- From the left sidebar, go to Integrations.
- Select Website Integration.
- Find the Install via Google Tag Manager section.
- Connect your Google Tag Manager account.
- Choose the required GTM Account.
- Select the correct GTM Container for your website.
- Install REVE Chat on your preferred website from the available list.
- Open your Google Tag Manager account and review the changes if required.
- Publish the GTM container.

After the container is published, the REVE Chat widget will be added to your website through Google Tag Manager.
Important Note
Make sure you select the correct GTM container for your live website. If the wrong container is selected or the container is not published, the REVE Chat widget may not appear on your website.
Verify the Widget
After publishing the GTM container, open your website in a browser and check whether the REVE Chat widget appears. You can also send a test message from the widget and confirm that the message appears inside your REVE Chat dashboard.
Troubleshooting
If the widget does not appear after installing through Google Tag Manager, check the following:
- Make sure the correct GTM account is connected.
- Confirm that the correct GTM container is selected.
- Make sure the GTM container is published.
- Check whether GTM is already installed on your website.
- Clear your website cache and browser cache.
- Make sure you are checking the live website.
- Confirm that no security or optimization tool is blocking the widget script.
